Hello, internet! Isn't it always weird that at midnight (or 11:35 as that's the time here ) you always get some sort of inspiration for either fanart, fanfiction or an idea for a novel?

The latter applys to moi.

Since I started writing 4-5 years ago, I've always wanted to publish a novel (not get famous, just publish it), but I've always been down for ideas until just now! Y'see, I was doodling with my tablet randomly and started drawing this guy until he became an OC. He kinda looked like some sort of Techno-Organic or a cyborg and that's when the idea hit me! (If you must know, the OC I doodled is called Danyl Erikson and will be the main character of the 'novel' if you guys approve).

Here's the idea: In the near future, the world is in a dire state. The Governments have lost control and are afraid of being overthrown by both ally and enemy. Britain is the first to act by creating a special group of soldiers to 'keep the peace' and soon, the rest of the world follows. This ends up in, basically, World War III and wipes out humanity.
However, during the war, Danyl was created from a man injured in a bombing and was kept in stasis in an underground vault for a number of years, until the world became empty.
When Danyl wakes up after a power shortage and finds that he can't remember anything other than a bunch of miltary tactics (which involves strategy and how to use weapons), some basic mechanics and someone telling him about 'The SafeGuard'.
He escapes from the vault and explores the empty city once known as Oxford, looking for answers and finds them in the form of a young woman just like him. This woman, only known as Luree (a soldier from Spain), was created in the last year of the war when the final troops fell. She is much more informed of the world and it's past than Danyl is so he believes that she knows about 'The SafeGuard'. Luree has only heard rumours about it, since she was 'raised' by a general whom she looked up to as a father, but agrees to help Danyl look for it as she believes it could provide hope for a small group of children she found.
Luree takes Danyl to the children, but warns him that she'll kill him if he tries anything. Danyl is amazed that such small people so unlike him survived in such a world, but Luree is proud of them for staying alive so there is a chance of a future.
So Danyl, Luree and the children set off to find 'The SafeGuard' which is rumoured to be in Central London's ruins. Luree and Danyl grow closer as friends during the journey; Danyl discovers parts about his old life as his memory repairs itself and they all grow as people and characters while journeying to London.
However, there are troubles: there are others like Luree and Danyl that haven't forgotten the war and are out to defeat their enemies. Most of them are loners that the two manage to throw off, but one group are led by an insane man known as Dev who believes himself to have been a great man before his Government changed him into a robot...with human skin.
Danyl and Luree know that Dev will kill the children and wipe out 'The SafeGuard' if he finds them so they must try and get rid of him on their own.
