He's gone.../Important update

Hey, guys. I'm not gonna be here for long, but there's a chance I'm not gonna be on dA much in the next week or so, so I just want to explain:

On the morning of November 5th, Ernest H.Sims, the author of 'Boatbuilding in Aluminium Alloy' and my beloved grandfather passed away some time between 7:30 and noon.

I may or may not post a tribute to him in the next few days, but I'm not gonna be uploading the Timbre Prime-Mitsuki Prime comic, my RPing will become slower and any, if at all, comments will be short and to the point.

I'm still in shock at the moment really. This was the same man that inspired me to start writing seriously (writing is in our blood, I guess) and, in my family (my mum's side at least), the girls are closer to their dads, uncles, grandfathers etc than anybody else. I loved him so much and I never really got the chance to tell him.

The best I can do now is to dedicate my soon-to-be novel, Follow The Leader in his memory.

“The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” —John 5:28, 29. I truely believe that when that hour comes, I'll see my Pops once again.

Anyway, that's why I probably won't be doing much around here for a week or so. Gonna be missing a few school days so I can go to his funeral and I'll writing the prologue for Follow The Leader during this time.

**EDIT** Hey, guys! Thanks so much for the support, I'm feeling way better already =D Anyway, some news below:

It turns out my Pops' funeral is not until next Monday so I might just be able to get some deviations up before I leave. HOWEVER!! We're leaving on the day that my contest ends (my b'day) so I'm gonna leave judging to the second judge!

There is the possibility that I can get into my aunt's internet like last time I was staying with them, but I probably won't be sitting around long enough to get on my laptop.

**EDIT** Yay! I love these journal skins! :w00t:!

**IMPORTANT EDIT** I'm back from the funeral! It was very interesting - I saw the only picture of my great-grandparents for the first time, we managed to take some of Pops' things (a model boat, his wallet and a framed map of the English Channel...I think) and I found out some very amazing things about my grandpa!

My grandpa was an amazing man, no? I never knew about him designing the Concorde, TSR-2 or building Miss Enfield and Miss Enfield II! I'm very proud of his actions during World War 2 (his hands got blown off for his efforts, but he did save those men's lives), and I thought that his life's achievments should be acknowledged.

Tribute to him will be up once I've gotten rid of all this homework (my teachers ignored the fact that I was going to a funeral!) and I can haul my butt off my chair to get some paper...
